This belt alignment tool has two components; a unit that emits a single red laser and three targets. Each can be attached quickly and easily (using powerful magnets attached to each unit) to the inside or outside of a belt pulley or chain sprocket. The aligner can be applied to most machines that use V, banded and/or ribbed belts, as well as chain sprockets.

A laser is projected from the unit to the targets (of which are mounted on the opposite pulley) and the tool then corrects for vertical and horizontal angle, including parallel misalignment. Or even a combination of all three!
